These terms are the agreement between you and Ayumu when you use the app. Like our privacy policy, they are written plainly rather than in legal boilerplate. By creating an account or using Ayumu, you agree to them.
Ayumu is a personal self-care app: journals, mood check-ins, workouts, meals, water, sleep, meditation, breathwork, reading and daily planning, with streaks, XP and levels to keep you going. It is a tool for building your own habits around your own life.
You need an account with a working email address to use Ayumu, and you must be at least 13 years old. Keep your password to yourself — anything done while signed in to your account counts as done by you. If you think someone else has your password, reset it from the sign-in screen.
Everything you record — journals, photos, workouts, notes — belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to store it and show it back to you; we claim no other rights over it, and our privacy policy governs how it is handled. Your chosen "dream name" (never your real name or entries) is what appears to other users on the leaderboard.
Don't break the app or spoil it for others: no attempting to access other people's data, no abusive or unlawful content, no automated scraping or bulk account creation, and no reverse-engineering or reselling the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
Ayumu is currently free, with no ads. If that ever changes, existing users will be told clearly inside the app before anything costs money.
We work to keep Ayumu reliable, but it is provided "as is": we cannot promise it will never be down, lose a sync, or be free of bugs. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you have paid us for it — which, today, is nothing.
You can delete your account and every piece of your data at any time, either inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following these steps. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and say so in the app. Continuing to use Ayumu after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Questions, complaints or anything else: hello@ayumu.app.
