Delete your Ayumu account

You can delete your Ayumu account and everything in it at any time, from inside the app. You do not need to email anyone or wait for approval.

From the app

Open Ayumu and make sure you are signed in.
Go to Profile (bottom right).
Scroll to DATA and tap Delete account.
Confirm when asked.

This is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore an account once it is gone. If you only want to stop the reminders, turn them off in Profile → Notifications instead.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost your phone or can no longer sign in, email hello@ayumu.app from the address you registered with and ask us to delete the account. We will confirm within 30 days. We can only act on a request from the registered email address — otherwise anyone could delete someone else's account.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes every record tied to it:

Friends and friend requests	Deleted immediately

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them along with anything Ayumu stored on the device.

What we keep, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you. We do not retain a shadow copy of your account after deletion.
Server logs may contain your IP address and the time of a request for up to 30 days, kept by our hosting provider for security and abuse investigation. These are not linked back to a deleted account and are overwritten on that schedule.
Encrypted database backups may hold a copy for up to 30 days before they roll off. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account — only to recover from a total failure.
